Platanias

Platanias is situated just 800 meters away from Mikro and it is a beautiful fishing village with several taverns and cafes, a supermarket and an oven. From Platanias there is a daily cruise for the island of Skiathos.

Lafkos

It is a special village, with an impressive square, stone-built taps and paved cobbled paths through which the visitor can discover the original Pelion architecture. Drink coffee under the shade of plane trees in the square and enter the Manifi Forlida café, the oldest café in Greece (since 1785), visit the Fabio Museum at the old Lafkos Primary School in honor of the artist Thanasis Fampas and the Museum Radio "Antonis Tavanis", where 120 Radiophones dating from 1917-1960 are exhibited.

Promyri

Promyri is a mountainous traditional village of southern Pelion, built on a hillside of very rich vegetation. This is a
a village that preserves the traditional Pelion character that you will discover with a stroll there. You will discover old
mansions and stone houses. You can visit the church of Virgin Mary which was built in 1760  and it is a representative
 sample of Pelion's architecture as well as Trani Vrisi which was built in 1756 and is one of the oldest fountains in Pelion
and has been declared a listed monument.

Also...

Still some nice beaches are Kastri, Mortia and Potistika. On the side of Pagasitikos a choice is always the seaside Milina, a busy holiday resort. More quiet, Horto, literally lit in the green, has a nice beach and it's worth a stop.

The beaches of Marathias and Tzasteni will be on the way to Trikeri, which is islanded and differs from the other villages of Pelion.
You can also visit the fishing village of Agia Kyriaki, the port of Trikeri with the picturesque taverns to try fresh seafood and fish.

The nearby fishing village of Kottas enchants with its simplicity. A few kilometers below Alogyprus you can take a taxi to visit the Old Trikeri or the Virgin Mary's Island.
